The history of Russian hip-hop is unimaginable without Guf. In 2004, Alexey Dolmatov — along with Princip, Slim, and Ptakha — founded the group Centr, one of the most renowned acts on the domestic scene. In 2008, Centr won the MTV Russia Music Award for Best Hip-Hop Project, while Guf’s solo album Gorod Dorog (2007) garnered widespread acclaim from listeners.
Alongside his performing career, Guf developed his own label infrastructure: he co-founded CAO Records and established the ZM Nation label. Key milestones in his career include collaborations with Basta, the album 4:20 with Rigos, the album Eshcho (2015), and the EP Dom, kotoryy postroil Alik (2020). His tracks "Ice Baby," "Yamakasi," "Alik," and "Sponsor tvoikh problem" are known to generations of listeners.
