CINEMA at Lotus Arena: A Legend Comes to Life

The concert's crowning glory is Viktor Tsoi's voice. Thanks to the painstaking work of sound engineers who digitized the vocals from the original multichannel recordings, it sounds so powerful and pure, as if the leader of KINO himself is invisibly present on stage, his energy filling every corner of the vast arena. And alongside him are his comrades, living legends: the band's long-time guitarist Yuri Kasparyan and two bass players from different eras of the band, Alexander Titov and Igor Tikhomirov. Their skill, drive, and signature sound provide the perfect backdrop for his timeless voice.

The show's concept is to show what KINO would sound like in the 21st century, and the creators have succeeded in doing so. The program, consisting of more than 30 songs, is divided into three parts. They will take you through the band's entire history: from its early work, with Alexander Titov on bass, to its later period with Igor Tikhomirov. In the third half, both bassists will perform together on stage.

A unique video sequence has been created especially for the concert, combining archival footage, rare footage, and contemporary video art with 3D elements. Images of a young Tsoi, clips from music videos, and footage from the 80s come to life on huge screens, creating an incredible atmosphere of nostalgia and connection to a great era. All this will be complemented by a powerful light show, turning the concert into a world-class spectacle.
